Not everything in an old barn deserves a landfill. Spencer walks the structure with you before a single wall comes down and pulls out whatever you want kept, whether that is beams, siding, hardware, or original doors.
We pulled 90-year-old wooden beams out of a Chico-area demolition and shipped them to a customer in Tahoe at their request. If something in the structure has personal or material value, tell us before the teardown and we will get it out.

Hand-Hewn Beams & Timbers
Old-growth timber beams found in barns built before the 1950s are irreplaceable. We extract them carefully for furniture, mantles, accent walls, and architectural features.
Barn Wood Siding
Weathered barn wood is sought after for accent walls, furniture, and design projects. We remove siding in usable lengths when customers want to preserve the character of their barn.
Vintage Hardware & Fixtures
Door hinges, barn door tracks, pulleys, latches, and other hardware from older structures. These are often hand-forged or period-specific pieces that cannot be reproduced.
Doors, Windows & Architectural Elements
Original barn doors, transom windows, and architectural details. We remove them intact before demolition so they can be repurposed or preserved as-is.

Start to Finish.
Every barn and outbuilding demolition follows a structured process. We evaluate the structure, preserve what matters, tear down what does not, and leave you with a clean property.
Onsite Assessment
We inspect the structure. Construction type, age, condition, foundation, and potential hazmat. Site access is evaluated for our equipment. You receive a written, itemized estimate.
Salvage Walkthrough
Spencer walks the structure with you to identify materials worth saving. Beams, siding, hardware, doors. Salvage items are flagged and extraction is planned before any demolition begins.
Hazmat Evaluation
Older structures may contain asbestos roofing, lead paint, or other hazardous materials. We coordinate testing when warranted and arrange abatement with licensed specialists before teardown.
Utility Disconnect
Electrical, water, gas, and any other utilities serving the structure are disconnected. 811 called for underground locating. No live services when we start the teardown.
Material Salvage
Identified salvage materials are carefully extracted and set aside. Beams are removed without damage. Siding pulled in usable lengths. Hardware catalogued and preserved for you.
Structural Teardown
Excavators and grapple attachments bring down the structure in a controlled sequence. Wood, metal, and concrete separated on site for proper recycling and disposal.
Foundation Removal & Debris Hauling
Concrete slabs and foundations broken out with hydraulic breakers and hauled to our private recycling yard. Wood and metal to appropriate recycling. Every load documented.
Site Grading & Cleanup
The footprint is graded level, debris cleared, and the site left clean. Ready for new construction, landscaping, fencing, or whatever your plan is for the space.

We pull demolition permits regularly in Chico and Butte County and in Sacramento County, and we work across El Dorado, Placer, and Tehama counties as well. We advise on what your jurisdiction requires during the estimate and handle the paperwork.

Old Barn + Owl Rescue + New Driveway
We chained the barn to our skid steer to collapse it. As soon as the structure shifted, an owl flew out. We stopped the crew immediately, walked the rest of the structure to check for animals, then resumed. The driveway was steep and saturated from winter rain, so we laid road base just to get equipment up the hill. The customer ended the project with a cleared barn site and a fresh, drivable driveway.
All-Concrete Milk Barn. 2M+ Pounds Hauled
One of the biggest single-site concrete teardowns we have run. The barn was built entirely from concrete, and over two weeks we hauled more than two million pounds of material off the property. A clear demonstration of what the full crew plus rented semi capacity can move when the scope demands it.
Wood-Frame Barn Removal
